About Rev. Herman Yarber III
Rev. Herman Yarber III was born December 1,1957 to the late Rev. Dr. Herman Yarber Jr. and Anne Yarber, brothers Rev. Dr. Kim D. Yarber Sr. (Shirley) (Pastor a Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church in Flint, Mi) and the late Rev. Dr. David M. Yarber Sr. (Wren), Pastor at Davison Missionary Baptist Church.
Rev. Herman Yarber III attended Detroit Public Schools, a Pershing high honor graduate, class of 1975. He attended Western Michigan University, graduating in 1979 with a BBA. He also attended Covington Theological Seminary, to obtain his MA in 2014.
Rev. Yarber III accepted the calling to preach Gods word in January 2000 with his first sermon on March 19, 2000. He is the father of one daughter, Rachel Anne (Yarber) Booker and one son in love, Geoffrey Booker. He has two grandsons Geoffrey Booker II and Nehemiah (Hardaway, II) Yarber.
His most accomplished life experience was accepting Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on January 19. 1969. He continues to endeavor to just do Gods will.
